We are not currently accepting unsolicited submissions of children’s books, science fiction, romantic fiction or short stories. If you have a work of non-fiction that you strongly believe would suit the Birlinn or John Donald lists, please submit the following material for consideration by email or post:
• a covering letter
• a synopsis
• three sample chapters
• a short biographical statement about yourself
• a stamped, self-addressed envelope (if submitting by post)
